Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals brings back the beloved Trainer’s Pokémon feature, this time adding a fresh twist with the infamous villainous group, Team Rocket, making their debut. Players now have the option to align themselves with legendary heroic pairs such as Ethan and Ho-Oh ex or Cynthia and Garchomp ex, or alternatively, indulge in a bit of villainy by siding with Team Rocket, guided by Giovanni and his powerful Pokémon, including Mewtwo ex.

Fans can also look forward to discovering the unique artwork on the newly designed Trainer’s Pokémon cards. Each card vividly portrays the special connection between Pokémon Trainers and their Pokémon and includes the Trainer's name as part of its distinctive design.
